How Domunión Was Born: Creating a Warm, Professional, and Distinctive Brand in the World of Domes

Design Decisions

Domunión is a brand dedicated to crafting wooden geodesic domes with rigid cladding.

Although the client had an initial idea for the name, it was essential to conduct deeper research and define it based on a solid and distinctive brand strategy.

The company’s working style is defined by warmth, closeness, and professionalism. To reflect these values, we chose a vibrant color palette, a friendly minimalist typeface, and geometric shapes that resonate with the visual language of domes.

A key decision was to avoid the literal use of the word “Dome” in the name and to design a logo that does not explicitly depict the dome shape, in order to build a more distinctive identity within the current market.

In addition to developing the visual identity, we worked on the design and organization of the sales system, which, for the sake of clarity, is presented in a separate section.
